This configuration allows you to simultaneously record the clean sound of your bass guitar and the coloured sound from the amplifier. Fire up your DAW software and create an audio track with its input selection corresponding to the input you are using on the audio interface (Mic/Line1, or Input1). I would not recommend to plug your guitar into a mic input (since as the name already indicates this one is used for connecting microphones). I would assume that your audio interface is already connected to your computer. Then place a suitable recording microphone (attached to a microphone stand) in front of the amplifer, then connect a microphone cable (male to female XLR cbale) from the microphone to the Mic input #2 input on your audio device.

Then connect a 1/4 inch jack cable from the instrument loop socket on your DI box and plug the other end into your amplifiers input socket. Connect your guitar cable from the bass guitar to the input socket on the DI box, and connect a microphone cable from the output on the DI box to Mic input #1 on your audio interface. For this method you will need two available input channels on your audio interface and you will also need 2x1/4 inch jack cables and 2x Male to Female XLR microphone cables.
